Manchester City v Everton Live

Manchester City head into their game against Everton under immense spotlight following revelations that captain Carlos Tevez wants to leave the club under any circumstances. You can watch all the live Premier League football by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

Tevez handed a written transfer request to the club last weekend and it was made public soon after City pulled level with Arsenal at the top of the league table with a comfortable 3-1 win over West Ham. The club however has revealed that it has rejected the request and pointed fingers at his agent Kia Joorabchian as the instigator of the transfer request.

However Carlos Tevez hit back by saying that he cannot work with “certain executives and individuals” at the club and said that the decision to leave the club was his alone. Reports suggest that the Argentine striker wants to move to Spain or Italy but is willing to retire completely from the game should his transfer request is not granted in the January transfer window.

Everton will be hoping that the off field issues at the club will keep City busy as they look to secure their first win in eight games. The Toffees were held to a disappointing draw by Wigan Athletic last weekend and manager David Moyes will be demanding an improved performance from his side this time around.
