Bolton Wanderers will be hoping to recover from their disappointing defeat to Sunderland from last weekend and remain in contention for a place in the Europa League next season by collecting all three points against West Brom on Sunday. The Trotters went into the match against Sunderland in sixth place but a 32nd minute goal by Danny Welbeck saw them cede their place to the Black Cats and slip down to seventh in the table.

Meanwhile West Brom will be hoping to kick off their Christmas schedule by collecting all three points against Bolton. After a dip in form, the Baggies have recovered somewhat and sit in the midtable, six points above the relegation zone.
Peter Odemwingie is the only major doubt for West Brom with the striker suffering from a groin injury while Mark Davies will return for Bolton after being suspended for the game against Sunderland.
