A disappointing defeat to West Ham had seen Fulham slip into the relegation zone but three vital points against Stoke City took some pressure off manager Mark Hughes. Chris Baird was the hero for Fulham with the striker scoring a brace in the opening 10 minutes of the game to help his side secure all three points and register its first away win in 26 games.

Hughes was delighted at the result and admitted that the victory came as a relief as he looks to turn around a poor start to the season. The Fulham managed claimed that the victory will prove to be the turning point for Fulham this season but will be aware that a defeat against West Brom will mean that all the hard work would be in vain.

The Baggies are going through a minor blip in form of their own with West Brom losing their last three games, including a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Blackburn to slip down to 14th in the league table, just three points above the drop zone.

West Brom will be without Gabriel Tamas who is suspended for the game while Fulham continue to be without their two first choice strikers with Bobby Zamora and Moussa Dembele out injured. Watch Fulham vs West Brom Live
