Manchester United will hope to put a big dent in Manchester City's hopes of lifting the title by collecting three points when the two teams meet on Saturday. United suffered their first defeat this season after suffering a shock loss to Wolves last weekend. Nani gave States the lead early in the third minute but George Elokobi side pulled back to level terms before Kevin Doyle headed home the winner five minutes before half-time whistle. Manager Alex Ferguson was disappointed with the results and is hoping his side will bounce back from defeat when he looks remain four points above the table. The defeat does not prove to be costly for league leaders Chelsea losing to Arsenal could only manage a draw against Newcastle. Meanwhile Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is hoping to secure an important victory on Saturday that not only help his side secure three points against their arch rivals, but also breathe fresh air into their title hopes. The city has lost five of last six games against United before this season before holding out in the absence of reconciliation in the City of Manchester Stadium.
